Why are we still building cities for cars in 2026?

I just visited Amsterdam and it's like a different planet. Quiet, safe, efficient. I came back to the US and almost got run over by an F-150 while walking on the sidewalk.

We need to ban cars from city centers. Period. Convert the streets to parks and bike paths. The mental health benefits alone would be worth the economic adjustment.
